++ Feet, Fun and Flair at New Adventures Dance Workshop ++
Pupils at Drake Primary Academy, part of the Reach South Academy Trust, brought the energy and excitement to the dance floor this term.
A special dance workshop gave year 4 children the chance to explore rhythm, creativity, and teamwork while having fun and showing off their own unique style.
The session was hosted by the New Adventures dance-theatre company, in partnership with Theatre Royal Plymouth, and based on their new show The Red Shoes.
New Adventures works with young people of all backgrounds and levels of dance experiences, sharing their passion for dance, theatre and creativity. Their workshops are designed to take young people on an adventure of discovery and expression.
Drake Primary Academy is committed to providing opportunities that inspire creativity, build confidence, and give every child a chance to shine both inside and outside the classroom.
Jacqueline Stephens, Executive Headteacher at Drake Primary Academy, said:
“It was wonderful to see our pupils throw themselves into the workshop with such energy and creativity. Opportunities like this help them express themselves, build confidence, and discover new talents, all while having fun together.”
