School lunches

Plymouth’s school meal provider CATERed has been presented with the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) 2018 Excellence in School Food Award.

The Award was presented to CATERed at the EDUcatering Excellence Awards at London’s Royal Garden Hotel by Sharon Hodgson MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on School Food on Tuesday 9 October.

If you would like your child to have a school lunch, you will need to make payment via ParentPay. Please ensure you have registered and activated your account. Letters containing activation details have previously been sent home but if you require another copy, please contact Mrs Bywater in the office.

Lunches should be paid for in advance, preferably at the beginning of the school week.  The cost of a meal per day from the 15th April 2024 is £2.75 - £13.75 per week. Children order their meals in class on the day.

It is your responsibility to ensure your account remains in credit and up to date. If your account becomes in arrears, and you fail to make a payment, this will affect your child taking a school meal.

Many thanks for your cooperation with this matter. A copy of the school menu can be viewed online.

Please note, jacket potatoes are available every day, but the lighter sandwich choices are not currently available.
