Welcome to the Drake Primary Academy PTFA!
At Drake Primary Academy, our Parents, Teachers, and Friends Association (PTFA) plays a vital role in bringing our school community together while raising essential funds to enrich our children’s educational journey.
Every penny we raise goes directly back into school life — providing memorable experiences, enhancing learning environments, and supplying extra resources that wouldn't otherwise be possible.
What We Do & Our Big Impact
Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our parents, staff, and local community, we are able to fund both major school upgrades and ongoing everyday enrichment.
Our Biggest Achievement to Date
We are immensely proud to have funded and delivered the brand-new play structure in the Key Stage 2 playground! This state-of-the-art facility gives our older pupils a vibrant, active, and fun space to exercise, play, and build friendships during break times for years to come.
Annual Community Fairs
Every year, we host our annual Summer Fair and Christmas Fair. These popular events bring our whole school family together for games, refreshments, stalls, and seasonal fun, serving as our primary fundraising events.
Seasonal School Discos
We keep the energy high throughout the academic year by running our popular Autumn Disco and Spring Disco, giving the children a chance to let their hair down, dance with friends, and celebrate the turn of the seasons.
Ongoing Enrichment Support
Beyond our headline events, the PTFA provides vital ongoing assistance for general school enrichment. This includes funding educational resources, contributing towards school trips and workshops, and supporting special classroom projects that make learning extra special for every child at Drake Primary Academy.
Get Involved!
The PTFA relies entirely on volunteers — parents, carers, grandparents, and staff — giving whatever time they can spare. Whether you can help organise an event, run a stall for an hour at a fair, or simply attend our events and buy a raffle ticket, every contribution makes a difference.
